Development of large-scale protected areas
Based on 25 years of experience, we support regions and protected areas from the idea phase, the selection of the appropriate type of protected area, the spatial delineation process through to successful implementation and ongoing operation.
We pay particular attention to the targeted involvement of stakeholders and ensure participatory approaches and methods. Large protected areas such as national, nature or biosphere parks as well as natural World Heritage sites make an enormous contribution to the preservation of untouched nature or the sustainable use of natural resources.
